ARC Review: My Serenity by M. Clarke

My Serenity (My Clarity#2)

When tragedy strikes, Seth Stewart is forced to return home after the death of his beloved father. The unexpected detour forces him to oversee the family’s auto shop and restaurant business, and Seth must kiss the prestigious internship goodbye after his first year at Berkeley Business School. When he collides with his first crush after his arrival, Seth wonders what possibly could have happened to Josefina Anders.

Josefina has hidden many secrets she is too ashamed to share with anyone, especially Seth. When they cross paths again, the urge to relive their past lingers in her mind even though she knows he couldn’t accept her sketchy past. Things get even more complicated when her mother returns, as well as her overly possessive ex, who decides to crash into her fragile existence all over again.

Will Seth’s connection for Josefina be strong enough to see past her secrets, or will he realize he can’t rekindle an old flame?

EEEKK!!
This book is amazing!
From the start up to the last, I was hooked!
The characters and the story are amazing!
In this book, the main characters are Seth and Josie.
Seth, Elijah’s best friend (you met Eli on the first book, My Clarity).
He’s an amazing guy that is easy to fall in love
 and has a good personality.
Josie or Josefina, Seth’s young sweetheart who disappeared when then they are young.
When the two met again, sparks fly and the feelings they
thought that is buried, resurfaced.
As the story goes, things get more interesting and unexpected people from
Josie’s life threatens to destroy the chance she got to Seth.
What I love about this book are: I got to see some of the characters from
My Clarity, mainly Elijah and Alex. I also love the banter between
Elijah and Seth, it’s hilarious!!! I was laughing when they are practicing something!
Lol! I fell in love with Eli all over again in this book.
Both of these guys, Eli and Seth are easy to love. I can’t choose between these two...
Can I have them both? Lol..
Ms. Mary nailed it again! Loved it!
One of my favorite reads this year!
